India Emerges as Global Leader in AI-Driven Business Transformation, Survey Reveals
India is emerging as a global leader in artificial intelligence-driven business transformation, with a survey of 300 chief marketing officers showing higher confidence in AI-led growth than global peers. The findings highlight stronger revenue expectations, increased AI investment, adoption of agent-based systems, and real-time data capabilities reshaping India's digital economy.
A survey covering 300 chief marketing officers has found that Indian executives exhibit higher confidence in AI-led business expansion than peers in any other region. Around 53 per cent of Indian chief marketing officers expect artificial intelligence initiatives to deliver between 5 and 9 per cent incremental revenue growth, notably higher than the global average of 43 per cent.
The report highlights India’s deepening commitment to artificial intelligence investment, with organisations increasingly allocating resources toward AI-powered innovation, automation, and advanced digital capabilities. The country has also emerged as a leading adopter of agent-based artificial intelligence systems, reflecting a broader transition toward more sophisticated and autonomous technological frameworks.
Experts observe that artificial intelligence is rapidly moving beyond the experimental phase and becoming a central pillar of long-term corporate strategy across multiple sectors of the Indian economy, influencing decision-making and operational models at scale.
India has also recorded some of the strongest global expectations regarding the ability of artificial intelligence systems to process information and respond to changing conditions in near real time. This underscores a growing emphasis on speed, agility, and data-driven decision-making within an increasingly competitive digital environment.
The findings further underline India’s rise as a major force in the global artificial intelligence landscape. Supported by a rapidly expanding innovation ecosystem, rising investment flows, and strong digital ambitions, the country is positioning itself to play a defining role in shaping the future of AI-enabled economic growth.
As organisations continue to expand the use of advanced technologies, India’s artificial intelligence transformation is expected to deliver productivity gains, accelerate innovation, and create new opportunities across industries, reinforcing its position as one of the world’s fastest-growing digital economies.
